A playful ode to surrealist design, the Lips Serving Dish Set adds a kiss of charm to any table or interior. Each piece is crafted from glazed stoneware and shaped like a pair of painted lips — an unexpected silhouette that’s as delightful to use as it is to display. Handcrafted for a unique finish, the trio of stackable bowls comes in three versatile sizes, perfect for serving sweets and snacks or for storing jewellery and other small treasures. Part of the Les Objets Mouleversants collection — a collaboration between Belgian design house Serax and the jewellery duo Wouters & Hendrix — these sculptural pieces draw inspiration from the dreamlike surrealism of the 1920s. Much like fine jewellery for the home, they’re designed to spark conversation, delight the senses and bring lasting joy to the everyday.

Curator’s note:
We love how this piece blurs the line between function and art. Style the bowls together as a centrepiece on a coffee table or sideboard to let their sculptural form shine, or separate them throughout your home to hold jewellery, keys, or even loose petals. There’s a wink of humour in their design — a testament to Wouters & Hendrix’s irreverent spirit — and we imagine them living in a space that doesn’t take itself too seriously: bold, eclectic, and full of personality.

We at Aynhaus are obsessed with our art and décor pieces and part of that obsession trickles down to proper care and maintenance in order to keep the beauty, longevity and the value of our pieces.
The instructions in this guide will help you prolong the life of your own pieces purchased by our platform. As a starting point, we always advise our clients to be mindful of the placement of their art and décor pieces. Avoid positioning near exterior walls to prevent moisture buildup and keep pieces away from heaters, fires, or radiators to avoid heat damage. Protect pieces from sharp objects like buckles, rings, and possibly curious pet claws!
Materials
Leather - Clean with a soft cloth and mild soap solution; dab spills dry immediately without rubbing. Avoid harsh cleaners and direct sunlight exposure.
Fabric - Spot clean after testing on a small area. Avoid oversaturation. Use a soft brush to maintain fabric appearance and gently vacuum regularly. Clean spills promptly, and consult a professional for deep cleaning to avoid permanent stains.
Feather and Down Cushions - Regularly "fluff" cushions by placing them on their narrow edge and repeating on all sides. This helps maintain shape and comfort.
Wood - Wipe up spills immediately and dust with a soft cloth. Most wood surfaces are scratch-resistant and heat-tolerant to an extent, but avoid placing hot items directly on them. Wood may expand or contract with temperature changes.
Metals (Brass, Copper, Pewter, Nickel, Silver) - Keep metal surfaces dry to prevent tarnishing. Avoid abrasive cleaners; polish in straight motions. Use metal-specific cleaners for brass, focusing on inlaid areas only.
Bronze and Iron - Occasionally wax bronze and iron pieces. Iron may need more frequent care in high-use or humid areas.
Stone (Marble, Travertine, Granite, Limestone, Cement) - Clean stone surfaces with neutral, mild cleaners. Blot spills immediately to prevent stains. Avoid acidic substances and use lukewarm water for regular cleaning. Always use coasters to protect stone surfaces.
Glass and Mirrored Glass - Wipe weekly with a slightly damp cloth. Use felt protectors under objects to prevent scratches, and ensure items are the correct weight for the glass surface.
Ceramics - Handle ceramics with care to avoid chips and cracks. Clean gently with a soft, damp cloth; avoid abrasive materials. For stains, use a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Keep ceramics out of direct sunlight to prevent fading and avoid sudden temperature changes that could cause cracking.
Art
To preserve the beauty of your art and art prints, avoid direct sunlight, which can cause fading over time. Keep them in a stable, humidity-controlled environment to prevent warping or moisture damage. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth or a feather duster. If framing, use UV-protective glass and acid-free materials to safeguard your artwork from environmental factors. Handle with clean hands or gloves to prevent oils and dirt from transferring to the surface.
